Here's my last decision, the center of the main block. The light grey (shown previously) is in the upper left, other greys are in the next 3 blocks, with a red in the center block. I know which one is my favorite, what do you think??
I'm ready to get this one done and down off the wall.
Have a great Monday,
Karen

Hi Karen your quilt top is looking really good. I like the red centre, it gives the block an extra lift. It is very awkward trying to get such large blocks up on a design wall. Mine is too small so I had to make do with a bed even though I think it's much better to view them vertically. It's going to be a lovely quilt when it's finished, are you adding borders?
I think I like the second block best, but actually, any of them would be fine. The quilt is going to be gorgeous!
I'm liking that red for the center but a second choice would be one of the dark greys. Good luck with you choice, I am sure any would look great.
I keep looking at it and thinking how great it is that you haven't put them together yet, cuz now you have choices! I really like the second one with the charcoal grey block. But then I keep thinking.....since you can!.....maybe make a mini 9-patch of the block! Or a square-in-a-square! Yikes! I know, crazy right!?!.....But just taking total advantage of it still being in pieces! :o) Did that help? lol
I have the same problem with my design wall! I really do need a bigger one.
REd makes all the reds more prominent, but I like the third one, the polka dot dk grey, best because it gives the quilt a little action. I'm sure which ever you choose will be just perfect. Have fun!
Tough call. You have some great options. I think any would be fine. I like the uniqueness of the B/W dot (#3, top row), but the red is probably my favorite. I don't think you would go wrong with any of them.
Limited design wall for me too. More length of wall than floor to ceiling space, so often I display a top sideways and have to rely on a photo to see what's going on "down the hall." What a pain!
I think you could get away with mixing them up, just as you've shown... though I'm partial to the darker gray.
They're all great, and all bring something different to the quilt, but I think my favourite is the red.
I like the charcoal gray spotted center the best. It perks up the whole quilt. Great job.
I really like the darker shade of gray, but I think you may like the red best, which is my second choice. Both really make it Pop!
I love your new Blog header. This is sew cute!!!
