Ta-da.... I've finished this and I've named it Winter Star. I've already decided I want to do another one with different fabrics and so I'm calling this is #1.
I quilted wavy lines thru the middle of each strip and a curly design in the red star. What a fun pattern this is and so quick. I must admit when I first looked at Twinkle, I couldn't see past the graphic colors. Now I'm thinking all kinds of color combinations. In fact, recently my DD told me she "needs" an new quilt - LOL!!! She wants aqua, white and red. I thought of Bliss - can't you just see it?? The background in aqua/white with red stars. How cute would that be??
I hope many of you are enjoying Kim's great patterns in Scrap-Basket Sensations.
Until next time,
-Karen

Very nice finish, Karen. And yes, it would be equally lovely in Bliss!

Oh I love your quilt! I love stars and I love red and green and it's a great pattern.
You're a fast worker! It's really beautiful.
This is a beautiful quilt; I completely understand your daughter's "need" - and I bet you do too!! Thanks for sharing how you quilted this; very helpful!

Very cute, Karen. Like you I couldn't see past the graphic design - my eyes are wide open now.
It would be fabulous in Bliss.
Looks like something that could be displayed in December with the red & green combination. In blue & white, it could have a snowman on it and be for January.
Too cute! The more I see this one, the more I want to do it again. My head is spinning with color combinations! When you mentioned aqua and red, I immediately thought of Bliss!
Very pretty, and not just for Chirstmas!
Anything with red and green I just love it. Your quilting is fantastic!
It's beautiful......it would be lovely with Bliss too!
Oh, I do love Winter Star!
