As we were finishing up the quilts last Spring, Kim had finished Twinkle and I brought it home to sew the binding on (which is something I love to do by the way). Now mind you, all 4 of my book quilts were already finished and my DH had been seeing them in progress for months - with basically no comment. When I walked in with Twinkle he said, "Now I like that quilt!" Go figure!! It has a very graphic, modern feel to it when done in the black, white and red. And you can see how different it looks done in the green and red.
That really is the beauty of Kim's books. These quilts are so versatile and fun to make.
Don't forget the last two stops on the tour.

I love Twinkle! I shared it on my blog tour. Your green and red version is really spectacular. How sweet of you to give it very special attention. :o)
I like this quilt! the red and green is great fun! I can see this in bright solids too... Funny what hits guys radar on quilts! ;-)
How did you do that so fast? We just talked about this yesterday! And there it is! You're amazing!
Twinkle is so pretty in the greens and reds and I love that it looks Christmasy! So pretty!!!!
It's amazing to see how different a quilt looks when done in different colors. I suppose new quilters like myself should take that knowledge and not worry about having THE exact same fabrics for a quilt we've seen somewhere and just work with what we have. Thank you for the visual.
Love your Twinkle It Reminds me Of the holly Tree's Growing when I lived in Scotland it must be the colours very pretty.
Hugs Mary.
Love both Twinkle versions!
Out of the mouths of hubbies --> always something to keep us smiling.
Your green and red blocks definitely look like a Christmas quilt in the making. Maybe with an appliqued border?
The book tour has been great fun!
