I have finally finished this fun QAYG Chevron quilt and will turn it in tonight at our Guild meeting.
I got the idea for this quilt from Maureen's blog tutorial here
We always seem to be short on boy's quilts for our charity projects.
This was a fun method that used a lot of stash fabrics. I started this last spring and I'm glad to have a finish!
It almost looks like an I Spy quilt with all the novelty fabrics.
I didn't make it as big as the original, but it will be perfect for a small boy.
And here's a picture from Thanksgiving of me and my DH with our 4 precious babies.
Life is good.
Hope you get some stitching in at the busy time.

Pretty blues!
What a wonderful quilt for a little boy - love the selection of blues and I'm certain that some lucky little fellow will too.
Sweet! Someone is going to love this very much!
Nice boy's quilt! We always had more "girls" quilts for donation in my guild in TX than for boys also. I just happen to have a blue string quilt started for a donation quilt. Don't know when I'll get it finished, Adorable family!
Karen, love the pattern & colors great idea to use up all of my scraps . I am a Nana to 8 grandbebe's and wanted to make twin bed quilts for when they come over this would fit the bill!! Merry Christmas and your grandbebe's are beautiful!!!

That's a great charity quilt. It would be much loved I'm sure. Fabulous family photo!
What a fun quilt for a little boy to receive.
What a neat boy quilt! Thanks for sharing the link. I think this is something I should do. Love the family picture. You're beautiful, and everyone looks so good. I have to giggle though because it seems almost every toddler at the age of your youngest, has to have something in his/her mouth. Teething days, I'm sure. A good memory to have in a photo.
