My 16 blocks are done and are now waiting for me to find a border. I really like how this turned out.
It's always hard when I'm just getting started making units to imagine what it will look like.
Even when all the arcs were done, it was hard to picture it.
And then at this stage, when it seems finished, I know how different it will look with a border and binding and how much it will change with the quilting.
I'll try and get some outdoor pictures soon, the colors really sing in this one.
Happy stitching,
Karen

WOW! this looks wonderful! Love your choice of fabrics -a great combination of modern and traditional!
What an awesome quilt! Love it!
It is beautiful and when I looked at the first photo, I thought you had a border on it, but realise now that it's your design wall, so how about a plain fabric that matches the wall?
Then again, you didn't sk for suggestions, so how about I just mind my own business. Sorry Karen.
This part has come together so fast!
Really great - traditional and modern together!
It's beautiful! I love the colors! :0)
It is awesome! Amazing how the colors just look wonderful together.
Love some of those zingy fabrics you used! Beautiful little quilt.:)
Fantastic choice of color and fabric. Can't wait to see the end product.
That pickle dish is gorgeous!!!! Love your fabrics/colors.
I like seeing your progress, the parts coming together to become such striking blocks. LOVE the movement of the outer swirly black and white fabric with the black dots. Purple + lime + black + white = a feast for the eyes.
Looking forward to seeing the final steps, Karen.
Why does it seem that you just magically whipped this up?! It's FPP'ed right? Do you have a stack of papers? Or did you print them off yourself? Nice that you could make this from stash. I'm terribly impressed with the colors, and how quickly you put it together. Does it need borders?
Oh, wow! Karen, this is so amazing!
