Today is our 41st Anniversary. We are going out to dinner tonight, but here we are at the reception at the church hall. Funny how I still remember these people :).
It's always a little wierd when our anniversary falls on Memorial Day. It's such a special holiday for us to remember.
Here is the latest (and last) step in this little quilt. Picking a fabric for the outside border. I added a small green flange. It's getting close.
Happy Memorial Day to all,
Karen

You were a handsome couple on your wedding day. Wedding gown styles have changed so much. Some are downright risque.
You were just babes!
Your wedding photo just screams the 1960s--ahh, the memories. Love the dress + veil, the unique tuxedo + bowtie, and your happy faces. I think I see a church basement reception (same with us).
Your purple and green quilt is luscious. There's something so vibrant and appealing about those two colors together. Lookin' good!
Beautiful - both the photo and the quilt. Happy Anniversary, and here's to many more.
Happy Anniversary! Here's to many more!
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
Happy Anniversary! Ours is on the 29th. Wouldn't be bad except my hubby runs a golf course, and they have a huge tournament every year over Memorial Day weekend. Makes for not the best timing, sometimes!
Happy Anniversary ! We will be celebrating our 42nd anniversary this year :-D
Happy anniversary! I sure remember those powder blue tuxes with the wide lapels. Tim wore one as best man once. You two look so cute!
Don't you look gorgeous?! Happy anniversary!
Hi Karen. Congratulations on 41 years. We were married May 19 the same year so just celebrated 41 years, too.
A very happy anniversary to you both!!!, and what a lovely sweet bride you were/are!!!!!!
Happy Anniversary, you two have not changed much at all, I would say!!
Hope you enjoyed your time together.
I can't wait for the big reveal for this purple quilt. It looks great so far, and I love the little details you add, they make a big splash.
I bought the copy of the Modern Quilts magazine "Pink Pickles", and I love the photo of your quilt, but I was a bit disappointed in their story.
I NEVER pay this much for a magazine but I thought I would this time since your quilt was published. I hope you are enjoying the beginnng of this Summer season.
