I just picked this up - the proof page for our opportunity quilt "Vintage Blooms".
The Show Committe has decided to offer this as a pattern - available at our show in April. We have done this in the past, but not in a few years.
It is really so very exciting!
This is an 8 x 10 page of our 98 x 98" quilt and we wanted to give as much detail as possible.
It's all getting very real and very exciting. The inside pages should go to the printer in a few weeks.
To those of you buried in snow, stay warm and happy stitching.

I remember that a Dallas quilt guild designed their own quilt for each show and sold the patterns. The patterns were highly prized.
It's incredibly gorgeous! That's so cool about the pattern! I know I'm going to win the quilt, but just in case . . . :-)

This quilt is stunning! Will there be a link to buy tickets and the pattern?
Wow, great news about the pattern!
I think it's a wonderful idea to offer the patterns, I hope you sell a lot. I saw your jubilee quilt in your last post, it's looking sensational, you are a star quilter!
Wow! It's a georgeous quilt....thanks for sharing!

great idea! lovely quilt!
What a great idea to sell the pattern to the opportunity quilt. I'll have to pass that idea along to my guild.
What a great idea! I hope its very successful. The picture looks great and I can understand why its so exciting for you!
Beautiful! Any chance the pattern will be available sooner than April?
Will out-of-towners be able to buy that pattern? I know of one interested quilter in Iowa :)
How exciting to see your design in print!
Our guild used a MN quilter's pattern for next year's raffle quilt, and she suggested that we sell the pattern with a photo of our version on the cover. (She takes a portion of the sales.) What a great way to make money for a guild.
I'm guessing that you're going to sell lots of tickets and lots of patterns. It's a beauty, Karen!
Just love this!
