when you've been quilting since 1969 and you hate to throw anything away!!
I have been busy, busy, busy and have 4 flimsies ready to quilt along with almost finishing 4 wallhangings. My goal this morning was to tackle this pile of batting which has been stuffed into a closet in my studio. I'm slightly overwhelmed but will try to tame this mess. Personally, I'd rather be sewing! But after the sewing comes this :). I'll have some work to show soon.
Have a great day -
Karen
P.S. I still don't have pictures of the retreat and I left my good camera in Charlotte last month. Not sure what my problem with cameras is lately - it should be here soon I hope :).

You're on your way... wow, that's a LOT of batting. I know the closet is breathing easier this evening! Can't wait to see more...
Holy cow...that's a lot of batting! LOL
Yikes! How many batts is that? You're ready for the quilting marathon over this winter! Hunker down and get some quilted! :O)
Oh my goodness! And here I thought I had lots of batting. In fact, YOU WIN! That's definitely a lot. Hope you get to finishing tops so you can use it all up.
Wow, I could sure use some of that batting - lots of flimsies to be quilted in my house. LOL
Can't wait to see your projects.
Oh....I guess it has been multiplying at night, huh!!
Do the batts come flying out when you open the closet door?
My thoughts were similar to Karen's. I pictured all those batting packages falling on your head, knocking you to the floor, burying you, every time you'd open the closet door. Organizing and sorting is such a thankless part of quilting, but necessary. THEN you can get back to the fun.
Oh my goodness! I must be sick and twisted, but that pile of batting looks like so much fun! Ha! So much potential.
