My exciting news is that I am the guest author today over at
Stash Manicure!! Rae Ann asked me and I was thrilled. I'm talking about an idea I had last summer that evolved into a new program for our Guild. I am introducing MIAGIA's. Don't worry if you've never heard of it, it's a word I made up LOL!!! This is one of the quilts I made for the program.
And here's the quilt that started it all! I hope you'll go on over and read all about it.
See, Rodger didn't have a clue!! I hope you'll hop over to Stash Manicure and enjoy reading the whole story of MIAGA's. It's something I have become very excited about.
Until next time, make something beautiful.

Read your post on Stash Manicure...great job. Your MIAGA idea if very cool. And I think you're so right about quilters joining groups!
Karen, Thanks for sending me to Stash Manicure....I added it to my Blog Reader. Your article was great, I would have liked to have been in your audience that day! The way you manage and sort your stash and the quilts you make...........we may have been twins separated at birth!
Let me go on over and check it out.
Your post was outstanding Karen and I must say how thankful I am that I know the talented Karen that started
MIAGA's. You're such an inspiration! I hope that you will take me seriously about starting the group on Stash Manicure. We will have a button made and all! :)
Congrats, Karen. I will have to go over there and look at all your tips and beautiful quilts.
What a great idea your Miagia's are. I love the quilts you showed on the Stash Manicure post too.
Oops! I forgot to come back here and leave a comment. I enjoyed your post, and I think everyone else did, too! Great job!
Loved your Stash Manicure post. A lot of great ideas there. Thanks.
Hi Karen! I am in Pensacola too! What guild are you a part of?
I found you through Stash Manicure. Nice to know there is another Pensacola blogger who loves quilt making. I have Kim's book "Scrap Basket Surprises" too and one day I will get out from under the backlog I have right now and get to try one for fun!
Loved your post on Stash Manicure. I want to go cut all my old stash stuff into strips and USE IT! So many cute quilts you made!
Loved reading about the MIAGIAs over on stash manicure :)

I feel that i was there, it was fascinating!
I have two baby quilts that need to be made Pronto,
so I am going to try a MIAGIA!
Can't wait to have some time to play like this!
