My 4 Patch Quiltalong

I've got other projects that need my attention, but these looked too cute to ignore.
I've decided to dig into my stash of gray and yellow.  It's a collection of old and new, my favorite way to build a quilt.  I've already got a setting design in mind and I think I'll call it "Muted Tuxedo ".  The title will make sense later I hope.  I think it will really look different when I get the background squares cut. I cut the strips last night and it's been a fun morning of sewing.
Got to run to the grocery store soon :(.  But at least it's a start.

I like the yellow/grey combo! I would like to join in, but better not this time. I have tons of scrappy 4-patches already made, though. One of these days, I'll do something with them.

I love your scrappy fabrics designs. I love the yellow and gray combo.
This will be an awesome 4 patch design.

I have chosen orange and gray for my
Pickles Class. All solids, the new Modern Look. Have several in different shades. Will see how goes!

I think you have something great happening here, and I can almost picture it. The finish will be fab!

Looks like you're having fun. I love grey and yellow together. I remember Gwen Marston saying, "When in doubt, make 4-patches."
