Celtic Solstice - Clue 3

First let me say thanks for all the sweet comments on my win in the DWR Challenge for Organic Pink Pickles.  It has been such an unbelievable experience.
But in between all that and shopping, wrapping, and getting ready for Christmas, I've managed to find a little time to play.
I'm still not too sure about these colors....... they are kind of bright.  And kind of orange!
But I'm trusting Bonnie to know best.  I've kept the color swatches up on the design wall to help me when I pull scraps.
I've got a lot more of the chevrons to do.  They are really fun, but kind of tedious.  I've been thinking of another way to make these that doesn't waste quite so much fabric - I'll see how it works out.
This is my cutting table and I can hardly find room to cut!!  I'm using 6 different rulers and I keep losing them under the piles:).  At least I'm using up some of the wild colors.
Have a great day,
Karen

I wonder why Bonnie things this is a good time to introduce a mystery quilt? I would kind of like to do one with her, but not at this time of year. Too many other things going on. We are in VA now with another son and 2 delightful grandsons!

I think your quilt is going to be wonderful! Love your fabric choices.
I'm really enjoying making the chevron units using the technique Linda Franz suggested for the making of them.

Your units look great! I've always wanted to make one of her mystery quilts but haven't taken the plunge yet :0) I think it's fun in the link up to see people guess at arranging the units.

I'm working on this (I think) as well and way behind! I have the chevrons in work but clue one and three are woefully behind. Too much going on I guess.

I too am working on this but ended up changing the colors. I have never worked on one of Bonnie's mysteries before and am really enjoying it. I look forward to seeing yours come together!

Sure like seeing all the color you have on your design wall right now. And even more, I love seeing the clutter on your cutting table. Looks like the space of an amazing quilter... and it is! Merry Christmas friend.
