A Successful Border

So after a little fiddling, the border is on.  And it works I think.  I'm glad I didn't try and bring the green into the border, I think it frames it perfectly and make the red triangles pop.
Here it is on my kitchen table. This is where I'm planning on using it next Christmas.  And I'm promising myself that it will be quilted by Christmas!
Until next time,
-Karen

The border works perfectly. I like that you used a variety of reds. Gives it lots of interest. And that they are close to being tone-on-tone keeps it from being a busy look. I'm coming for Christmas!

That is stunning. I think you were right to persevere with the red border, it really does make the red pinwheels dance.

The red border is superb on this quilt, Karen. The greens and reds are the ones I love. It's going to be a festive addition to your holiday decorating.
Well done!
